TUNNEL VISION – ‘THE FLAME’: “Hardcore Lives!” This quote by Roger Miret of Agnostic Front has remained true since the genre’s conception 50 years ago. Adelaide’s Tunnel Vision are confirmation of its continued reality. ‘The Flame’ is one of the new tracks released from their EP Sanctimonious. It’s a sub-two-minute blast and should come with the “Caution: Hot!” sign as its cover art. Blending the hardcore punk pace of Trapped Under Ice with groove beatdowns of Terror, it’s a flawless fusion for a mosh-pit breakout. “Step into the flame,” vocalist Aaron Smith snarls repeatedly. Are you prepared to face the heat?

Also known as “theatre-core”, the four-piece have crafted a chronicle series with a different story on each release.
