Revered Aussie songwriters and performers Sarah McLeod and Dallas Frasca have teamed up for new single, ‘Til It’s Gone’.
Dropping ahead of the duo’s joint Australian tour, ‘Til It’s Gone’ is a stomping guitar rocker produced by Frasca with mixing from Andy Baldwin (Björk, Car Seat Headrest, The Cat Empire) and mastering from Lachlan Carrick.
The track is a fierce showcase of McLeod and Frasca’s powerhouse vocals, with the pair having this to say about the release.
“The song was inspired by a line in ‘Big Yellow Taxi’, written more than half a century ago, and it’s confronting how little has changed. We’re still prioritising profit over care for country, and the climate is pushing back hard. ‘Til It’s Gone’ speaks to the moment we’re in right now, a crossroads, and the responsibility we all share to make better choices before the damage becomes irreversible.”
The Green Electric Tour represents both McLeod and Frasca’s ongoing commitment to sustainable touring, with the pair aiming to reduce their emissions and implement strategies to lower their environmental footprint throughout the tour.
Each show will feature both artists performing all their original hits, reimainged rock bangers and their new collab, with McLeod and Frasca backed by two thunderous drummers.
The Green Electric Tour kicks off at Albury’s Bended Elbow on Thursday 19 February, before making its way across the country, stopping in Moyhu, Melbourne, Frankston, Gold Coast, Nundah and Eumudni. Two shows follow in South Australia at Aldinga’s Big Easy Radio on Thursday 5 March and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday 6 March, followed by concerts in Fremantle, Scarborough, Wollongong, Canberra and Rozelle, with the tour finishing at Newcastle’s Stag & Hunter on Saturday 14 March.

McLeod and Frasca are also documenting the tour to give fans an in-depth look into what they are doing and the challenges they face.
“We wanted to do something that wasn’t just loud — but meaningful. If rock and roll can’t lead the charge for change, what can?” says McLeod.
Adds Frasca, “We’ve both spent years on the road — it’s the wild west out there when it comes to sustainability. We want to show our fans that there are simple ways to make a big difference, and that every action counts.”
The Green Electric Tour is an amazing opportunity to watch both performers strut their stuff on stage on the same night, with tickets selling fast.
