Australia’s favourite music quiz show is heading back on the road in 2024, with RocKwiz’s 'Never Mind The Buzzers: Here's RocKwiz Live' show hitting theatres across the country from October to December.

Hosts Julia Zemiro, Brian Nankervis and Dugald McAndrew, along with the awesome and always expanding RocKwiz OrKestra, will take in 35 dates as part of this huge national tour, testing the music knowledge of everyday Aussies.

The extensive tour kicks off at the Orange Civic Centre in Orange on Tuesday, October 8 before touching down in cities and towns around the nation, including Tamworth, Hobart, Cairns, Rockhampton, Caloundra, Frankston, Ballarat and Port Pirie. The final performance of the two month tour is at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Adelaide on Thursday, December 5.

'Never Mind The Buzzers: Here's RocKwiz Live' follows on from last year’s ‘RocKwiz Salutes Mushroom 50’ series of live shows celebrating the golden anniversary of the iconic Aussie record label.

RocKwiz was a staple of SBS programming for ten years until it was sadly axed, but the show has found a new audience after being rebooted by Foxtel last year. The entertaining and hilarious trivia show features guest artists and musicians competing in a music quiz hosted by Zemiro and Nankervis. The live version features crowd members participating in the quiz, special guest appearances and plenty of laughs.

“There’s something very special about being on the road, playing beautiful theatres with a travelling company of artists [and] inviting audience members to be part of the action,” co-creator Nankervis said in a statement about the new tour. “On a RocKwiz tour, performing night after night, the shows develop and consolidate – but also twist and turn. We’re constantly refining, evaluating the shows in hotel rooms and airport lounges. Late night sing-alongs might be rehearsed the next afternoon and performed that night. There’s nothing quite like a RocKwiz show.”

Pre-sale for RocKwiz’s ‘Never Mind The Buzzers: Here's RocKwiz Live’ commences this Thursday, May 9 at 9:30am local time. General on-sale kicks off on Friday, May 10 at 9:30. You can find all the ticket details via RocKwiz Live website.
