Mad March is right around the corner and WOMADelaide is keen to get crowds excited for their 32nd festival, today announcing four more international artists joining the already stacked four-day bill.

Taking place at Adelaide’s Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla, WOMAD is welcoming trailblazing Afrobeat luminary Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 (Nigeria), tropical pop-reggae artist Hollie Cook (UK), the intoxicating Mauskovic Dance Band (The Netherlands), and world-renowned DJ/producer Saliah (Lebanon/UK) to the weekend event taking place between March 8 and 11. The announcement adds an extra dose of excitement to the festival, which now boasts an impressive lineup of 71 groups.
Performing only at WOMADelaide, these four extraordinary acts join more than 20 other exclusive festival artists, including Ziggy Marley (Jamaica), Baaba Maal (Senegal), Corinne Bailey Rae (UK), Nitin Sawhney (UK) and Emel Mathlouthi (Tunisia).
The Grammy-nominated Seun Kuti leads his father’s, Fela Kuti, iconic band, Egypt 80, infusing his own charismatic flair with the group’s iconic songs. Having joined the band at just nine years old and taking the helm at 14 after Fela’s passing in 1997, Seun continues to push boundaries, reflecting Africa’s struggles and cultures while preserving and expanding upon the musical traditions.
Hollie Cook, known best for her significant contributions to the genre lovers rock, adds another dimension to the festival’s diverse lineup. A prominent voice. In the English/Caribbean reggae sub-genre, Hollie’s solo career has seen her release four albums, showcasing her unique sound that celebrates the essence of love.
Meanwhile, the Mauskovic Dance Band from Amsterdam promises an electrifying experience with their fusion of hazy rhythms, dub-infused percussion and an infectious love for Afro-Caribbean polyrhythms.
