A decade on since emerging from the darkness, American rapper nothing, nowhere. has announced his Australian return.
The brainchild of Joseph Mulherin, nothing, nowhere. blends a wide range of genres in his sound and is touring his most recent album, last year’s Cult Classic, which Idoteq called a “tight, energetic showcase of Mulherin’s versatility.”
nothing, nowhere.’s The Return of the Reaper Australian tour kicks off in Brisbane at The Triffid on Thursday 16 April. nothing, nowhere then his Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Saturday 18 April, Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Sunday 19 April and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Wednesday 22 April, before the tour wraps at Perth’s Magnet House on Thursday 23 April.

Taking his name from a lecture by the philosopher Alan Watts, Joseph Mulherin began uploading songs to Soundcloud under the alias nothing, nowhere. in 2015.
Releasing his debut The Nothing, Nowhere LP that same year, nothing, nowhere. broke through two years later with Reaper, an album merging guitars with emo rap.
Now nine albums deep, nothing, nowhere. is entirely independent, having received praise from the likes of The New York Times, Billboard and Rolling Stone for his eclectic productions.
Having collaborated with the likes of blink-182's Travis Barker, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba, nothing, nowhere. has also garnered millions of streams and is looking forward to returning down under next year.
