Taiwan's Trailblazing Eye Catching Circus Returns to Adelaide with #since1994
“Visually stunning. The strength of each performer is demonstrated through phenomenally tight acrobatics!” – Scottish Field
Taiwanese circus company Eye Catching Circus returns to Adelaide Fringe with a brand show that’s sure to excite punters. #Since1994 is a contemporary circus performance featuring an all-female cast of acrobats that’s also soundtracked by music from two female composers.
Having sold-out performances in Avignon, Paris and Prague, creator Chih-Ling MEI is pumped to bring #Since1994 to Australian shores as part of Adelaide Fringe.
Not only are the acrobatic feats performed by the company incredible to watch, but the eye-catching spectacle is also a thought-provoking look at the modern world women under 30 are forced to navigate.
#Since1994 showcases the inspiring talents of the women involved and is a powerful journey of self-discovery for both performers and attendees.
The show has been praised by critics across the globe, with Broadway World calling #Since1994, “Circus and performance art at its best; a highly skilled spectacle inducing thoughts and questions.”
The 60 minute show is held at The Lab at Fool's Paradise from Friday, February 28 to Monday, March 10. Tickets are on sale now via adelaidefringe.com.au.
