The soulful crooner has locked in 11 dates across the country for next May.
Commemorating 20 years since the release of his debut album Sings “Walkin' and Talkin' for My Baby” and Other Smash Hits!, soulful singer-songwriter Eli Paperboy Reed is embarking on an extensive Australian tour in 2025.
“I can't wait to get back to Australia and reconnect with my fans over there - hopefully make some new ones too,” Reed said in a statement about his return to our shores.
“My passion for performing is stronger than ever and my brand new show is guaranteed to get everyone dancing and sweating. We're gonna have a great time, I promise you that!”
Reed will be backed by acclaimed gospel trio The Harlem Gospel Travelers for the first half of the tour before they embark on their own solo tour of the country. Melbourne’s own The Meltdown will also be travelling with Reed for the entire tour and form part of his backup band.

He then has shows at Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal on Friday, May 9, Canberra’s The Baso on Saturday, May 10 and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Sunday, May 11, before performing at music festival Blues on Broadbeach on the Gold Coast from Thursday, May 15 - Sunday, May 18.

Beginning life as a busker in Harvard Square where he honed his craft, Eli Paperboy Reed has had a remarkable two-decade long career.
In that time he’s released seven studio albums, the most recent being 2022s Down Every Road, and earned a reputation for his soulful, energetic live shows.
Returning to Australia in 2025 for the third time, Reed is still in awe of what he’s achieved over the journey, commenting, “I could never have imagined that 20 years ago, when I was starting out, playing for tips on the streets of Boston, that music would take me where it has.
“The lessons I've learned over the last two decades have made my music more mature and my live show the best it's ever been. I can't wait to see what the next 20 years bring.”
