Jess Locke Reveals 2025 Australian Tour Dates

The Melbourne-based singer-songwriter will be supporting Rodrigo Y Gabriela when they perform in Adelaide this April.

It’s been a little quiet on the Jess Locke front of late, but that’s about to change after the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter announced a run of April shows.

Locke is playing a mix of festival and headline shows, along with supporting Rodrigo Y Gabriel on their Aussie tour.

Taking to Instagram to reveal the dates, Locke posted: “Very excited to be hitting the road for a bunch of stuff in April. Pinching myself to be playing some of my favourite venues with @rodrigoygabriela and there are going to be a few extra little nice times in there @portkemblafestival @chucktrailers.”

Locke begins her April tour with a performance at Port Kembla Festival in Dharawal/Port Kembla on Saturday, April 12. She then heads to Eora/Sydney for three shows at Lazy Thinking on Sunday, April 13, Enmore Theatre (supporting Rodrigo Y Gabriel) on Monday, April 14 and Chuck Trailer’s on Tuesday, April 15.

The final three shows are supporting Rodrigo Y Gabriel at Anita's Theatre in Dharawal/Thirroul on Wednesday, April 16, The Gov in Tarntanya/Adelaide on Monday, April 21 and Northcote Theatre in Naarm/Melbourne on Wednesday, April 23.

Jess Locke has been out there getting it done for over 15 years. The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist broke through in 2016 with her debut LP, Words That Seem To Slip Away.

She’s since released three more albums, 2017’s Universe, 2021’s Don’t Ask Yourself Why and 2024’s Real Life, an album Rolling Stone called a “melancholic and introspective new era exploring mortality.”
