Avant-garde metal maestros, Mr. Bungle, make a return with The Raging Wrath of Australia & New Zealand tour in March 2024. This event will also feature the iconic Melvins, renowned pioneers in the world of grunge/metal.
Hailing from a humble lumber and fishing town, the enigmatic trio of Trey Spruance, Mike Patton, and Trevor Dunn founded Mr. Bungle in 1985 amidst the rugged landscapes of Humboldt County, California. The band's formative years saw them experimenting with various members until 1989 when they solidified a lineup that secured a record deal with Warner Bros Records. Fame off the back of this record deal remained alusive, with the band recording 3 albums and eventually splitting up in 2000.In a surprising twist, 2020 saw the emergence of a revamped Mr. Bungle lineup, featuring the original trio alongside Scott Ian of Anthrax and former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo. This incarnation treated fans to the official release of the band's unreleased demo, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny.Joining Mr. Bungle on every tour date are the Melvins. With a career marked by seamlessly blending punk and metal influences, Melvins have left an indelible mark on the grunge scene, influencing icons like Tad and Soundgarden. Despite their cult status, Melvins played a pivotal role in shaping the '90s musical landscape, inspiring bands such as Nirvana. Celebrating their 40th anniversary, Melvins recently concluded successful tours in North America and Europe and have exciting plans for new music in the upcoming year.Don't miss the electrifying live performance by Mr. Bungle in March 2024 as they embark on a musical homecoming in Australia and New Zealand, accompanied by the legendary Melvins.
