The Jungle Giants are starting the summer early with a massive regional tour kicking off in October. The Brisbane indie quartet have announced 11 dates nationwide, including a spot on South Australia’s Handpicked Festival bill.

While they are yet to announce support for the tour, expect The Jungle Giants to be joined by some great Aussie talent.

The tour begins in October with gigs locked in for Albury at Beer Deluxe (Saturday, October 26) and Dee Why RSL in Dee Why (Thursday, October 31).

The Jungle Giants then spend November visiting Drifters Wharf in Gosford (Friday, November 1), Panthers in Penrith (Saturday, November 2), Handpicked Festival in Langhorne Creek (Saturday, November 9), Gilligans in Cairns (Thursday, November 21), Jcu Uni Bar in Townsville (Friday, November 22) and Magnums in Airlie Beach (Saturday, November 23).

The final three dates find the quartet performing in Toowoomba at The Powerhouse (Friday, December 6), Coffs Harbour at Hoey Moey (Saturday, December 7) and in Castlemaine at Theatre Royal (Friday, December 13).

You can sign up for access to pre-sale tickets here or wait for general on-sale this Friday, September 6 at 8:30am via The Jungle Giants’ website. Tickets for Handpicked Festival are on sale now via handpickedfestival.com.

It’s been a huge couple of years for The Jungle Giants. After the release of their fourth album, 2021’s Love Signs, the group has spent most of their time touring, performing not only in Australia but across the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK and Europe.

The Jungle Giants made a splash at last year’s Laneway Festival, had the crowds dancing up a storm at the UK’s Latitude Festival and will be taking to the stage and performing at the Formula 1 in Singapore later this month.

The Jungle Giants also shared two new tunes last year, the playful ‘Trippin Up’ and RENEE collaboration ‘Rakata’, which you can hear live when the band hits your town as part of their upcoming tour.

Catch The Jungle Giants at Handpicked Festival in Langhorne Creek on Saturday, November 9. Tickets are on sale via handpickedfestival.com.
