Christmas comes early for heavy music fans this year, with American acts Full of Hell and Thou touring together this August. This will be Ocean City, Maryland grindcore thrashers Full of Hell’s long-awaited return to Australia. The tour comes in support of their much anticipated sixth album, Coagulated Bliss, set for release on April 26 through Closed Casket Activities. The record follows on from their much-celebrated 2021 record, Garden of Burning Apparitions. Hugely productive, Full of Hell has also dropped nine EPs, four live albums, and a bunch of collaborative albums since forming in 2009.

This will be Thou’s first trip Down Under, with the sextet bringing their unique sludge and doom metal sound to local audiences across the country. Similar to Full of Hell, Thou has been consistently releasing material since forming in 2005. They have five studio albums to their name, along with over 20 EPs, several collaborative albums with groups such as The Body and Emma Ruth Rundle, and a host of cover albums, including Blessings of the Highest Order, which contains covers of Nirvana songs.

The Full of Hell and Thou Aussie tour will start in Brisbane, with the two bands playing The Zoo on Wednesday August 14. They then travel to Sydney and play Mary's Underground on Thursday August 15 before hitting The Baso in Canberra on Friday August 16, Stay Gold in Melbourne on Saturday August 17 and Crown & Anchor in Adelaide on Sunday August 18, before Full of Hell finishes with an exclusive solo show at Make It Up Club in Melbourne on Tuesday August 20.

Metal fans can expect a riotous showing from these two awesome acts who are sure to leave the Cranker in a state.
