After initially being delayed by a week, Juicy Fest came through this morning with a ripping lineup for its 2025 event.
One for the old heads, the hip hop and R&B festival is headlined by rapper turned actor Ludacris, Senegalese-American chart topper Akon and Cali rapper Tyga.
The one-day festival takes place in Australia and New Zealand throughout January 2025.
In a surprising change to the usual festival lineup announcements, the Juicy Fest bill has been revealed almost nine months before the festival kicks off in Christchurch on Wednesday, January 8. The festival then moves to Wellington on Friday, January 10, Auckland on Saturday, January 11 and Tauranga on Sunday, January 12.
Juicy Fest then heads across the ditch for dates in Australia, with the exciting lineup hitting Perth on Wednesday, January 15, Melbourne on Friday, January 17, Sydney on Saturday, January 18 and Queensland on Sunday, January 19.
Along with the headliners, Juicy Fest 2025 will feature the "Princess of Hip Hop Soul" Keyshia Cole, R&B crooner Omarion, Bronx legend Fat Joe, 90s trio SWV, R&B collective Blackstreet and American singer-songwriter Jacquees.
“This year’s line-up is packed with artists responsible for some of R&B and hip-hop’s biggest hits of the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s and we’re excited to see the crowd respond to the high energy of our artists,” Juicy Fest promoter Matthew Spratt said in a press release about the festival.
Fellow promoter Glenn Meikle added, “Every year we are excited to bring another line-up to New Zealand and we believe we’ve come up with a high calibre group of artists that people will be excited to see.”

Pre-sale registration ends Wednesday, May 1 at 12:30pm local time, with tickets available from 3:30pm local time that same day. General sale tickets go on sale the following day, Thursday, May 2 at 3:30pm local time. Juicy Fest is also offering ten week payment plans to make sure everyone can secure their ticket for this awesome event.
