SPIN OFF RETURNS AND DROPS 2024 LINEUP
This year’s monster lineup includes Conan Gray, The Last Dinner Party, Girl in Red, G Flip and more.
Adelaide, your winter just got ten times hotter! Spin Off is back at the Adelaide Showground, spicing up your July with a sizzling lineup of music stars. Returning for its seventh edition, the festival promises to be a mid-year moment to remember.
And the party is only getting bigger! This year, Spin Off is introducing the oh-so-familiar Sound Archive stage to its curated programming (fans of summer festival Heaps Good may recall), featuring global electronic music heavyweights. Fire up the group chats -- July 19 is set to be huge…
Leading the charge is girl in red, whose honest lyrics and intimate production have propelled the Norwegian muso to the forefront of alt-pop. Joining her is pop sensation Conan Gray, who arrives in Australia with a set stacked with tracks from the singer’s hotly anticipated third album. Repping Australia on the Spin Off stage will be G-Flip – who had songs from their sophomore album Drummer place in the triple j’s Hottest 100 2023 not once, but seven times – and Adelaide’s own Peach PRC, who promises to captive audiences with her infectious pop anthems.
Taking the Spin Off lineup to the next level, Baby Gravy – a collaboration between Yung Gravy and bbno$ --, The Last Dinner Party (who are making their Australian debut!), and Michael Marcagi are jetting over to Australia to play the July 19 bill. They’ll also be joined by Aussies Old Mervs, Rum Jungle and Miss Kaninna.
The Sound Archive stage will be a haven of beats and rhythms, headlined by Swedish producer DJ Seinfeld. His famed, energy-infused set will be matched with the deep cuts of jazz-tipped house and garage mixes from Melbourne’s Sam Alfred. Rounding out the Sound Archive stages, jamesjamesjames, Club Angel, RONA, FUKHED and Willo will also play sets of immersive, transcendent dance music. Get in early to catch the Divide DJs too, (who are also presenting Sound Archive), they’ll be warming up custom-designed space designed for dancing.
