UK comedian, presenter, author and all-round funny guy Romesh Ranganathan returns to Australia this year with his new show ‘Hustle’.

Exploring the human condition, ‘Hustle’ will address a range of issues and topics, from whether people are inherently good to whether charity is a positive thing, with Romesh providing none of the answers but plenty of laughs.

Returning two years after his last sold-out tour of the country, Romesh has lined up six Australian shows, with two New Zealand gigs sandwiched in between.

The tour starts in Melbourne at Hammer Hall on Wednesday, October 2 before moving on to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall (Thursday, October 3) and Canberra’s Llewellyn Hall (Friday, October 4). Romesh then takes a quick detour across the pond for two shows in New Zealand, playing Auckland’s Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre (Monday, October 7) and Wellington’s Opera House (Wednesday, October 9). The final leg of the Australian tour resumes in Adelaide at Norwood Concert Hall on Saturday, October 12 before finishing with shows in Sydney at the State Theatre (Tuesday, October 15) and Perth at the Concert Hall (Friday, October 18).

A former maths teacher and aspiring rapper, Romesh began performing stand-up in the mid-00s, gaining great reviews for his self-deprecating humour. It didn’t take long before he was appearing on British panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and QI, leading to Romesh hosting a slew of high-rating UK programs, including The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, The Ranganation, Rob & Romesh Vs and A League Of Their Own.

The two-time BAFTA Award winner has also written three books – the Sunday Times bestselling autobiography Straight Outta Crawley: The Memoirs Of A Distinctly Average Human Being, follow-up As Good as It Gets: Life Lessons from a Reluctant Adult and 2023s Lil' Muffin Drops the Mic.

Recently announced as the host of this year’s BAFTA Awards alongside good mate Rob Beckett, Romesh’s ‘Hustle’ tour is sure to provide the laughs and is one comedy gig you don’t want to miss.

Tickets for Romesh Ranganathan’s ‘Hustle’ tour are on sale this Friday, May 10 via BOHM Presents.
