aleksiah Adds Adelaide Show To 'You’re Never Getting Rid Of Me’ Australian Tour

Homegrown talent aleksiah has added a special Adelaide show to her upcoming You’re Never Getting Rid of Me headline Australian tour.

Currently on the road supporting Teenage Dads, the rising singer-songwriter has announced a string of extra shows for her upcoming tour, locking in new dates for Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.

The tour comes in support of aleksiah’s recently released Who Are You When You’re Not Performing? EP, which has received great reviews from critics and fans alike. The release includes the singles ‘Fern’, ‘Pretty Picture’, ‘24’ and ‘Ant Song’.

aleksiah’s tour, which has been extended to ten dates, now begins in Naarm/Melbourne with a performance at Night Cat on Saturday, November 16. The indie-pop songstress then has shows at Volta in Wadawurrung/Ballarat (Sunday, November 17), The Basement in Ngambri/Canberra (Wednesday, November 20), The Lansdowne in Eora/Sydney (Thursday, November 21), La La La’s in Dharawa/Wollongong (Friday, November 22) and Kings Street Warehouse in Awabakal/Newcastle (Saturday, November 23).

The final four shows of the tour take place at Vinnies Dive Bar in Yugambeh/Gold Coast (Friday, November 29), Old Museum in Meanjin/Brisbane (Saturday, November 30), Solbar in Kabi Kabi/Maroochydore (Sunday, December 1) and in aleksiah’s hometown of Tarntanya/Adelaide at Lion Arts Factory (Saturday, December 1).

Joining aleksiah on tour is 17-year-old Brisbane-raised queer artist Ixaras, who is starting to make waves with her mix of indie pop rock tunes.

All shows are 18+ except for Adelaide and Brisbane which are all ages. Tickets for all shows are on sale now via aleksiah’s website.

The release of her debut EP, Who Are You When You’re Not Performing?, has quickly established aleksiah as one of the nation’s most exciting new talents.

Now under the wing of Australian artist management company Chugg Music (Lime Cordiale, Teenage Dads) and leading talent agency Select Music (Amy Shark, Stella Donnelly), aleksiah has the world at her feet.

Having already shared the stage with the likes of Lime Cordiale, Holy Holy and Teeange Joans, aleksiah has honed her live performance into an art form and her upcoming tour is not to be missed.
