Sleater-Kinney Share Video for New Song ‘Here Today’, Announce Deluxe Edition of ‘Little Rope’
The expanded edition of the duo’s 2024 album includes three new tracks.
Sleater-Kinney are releasing a deluxe edition of their acclaimed 2024 album, Little Rope. Arriving October 4 via Loma Vista, the expanded release includes three new tracks – ‘This Time’, ‘Nothing To Lose’ and ‘Here Today’.
Not only are we getting new original tunes from Corin Tucker (vocals/guitar) and Carrie Brownstein (guitar/vocals), but the album comes packaged with the Frayed Rope Sessions EP – a collection of stripped-back versions of Sleater-Kinney tracks – along with live versions of ‘Hell’, Say It Like You Mean It and ‘Needlessly Wild’, which were recorded during the band’s performance at the Forum in Melbourne.
The duo has also shared a music video for ‘Here Today’ shot by activist art collective In Decline. The black and white clip features the song’s lyrics projected on buildings and billboards across the streets of Los Angeles. You can watch ‘Here Today’ below.

In a statement about the new track, Sleater-Kinney says: “New single ‘Here Today’ out now - it’s an earnest song about our brief time here on earth, and where to find meaning in it.”
The deluxe edition of Little Rope comes just over six months after the album dropped back in January. The LP, the band’s 11th, was widely praised by critics, with DIY calling the record “as straight-up and purified an experience as any Sleater-Kinney observer-slash-enthusiast could ever hope to have in 2023.”
