The hip hop trio is performing at Northern Sound System this weekend.
Aussie hip-hop collective Downsyde are bringing the ruckus to Adelaide this Saturday when they perform live at Northern Sound System.
The trio of Optamus, Dazastah and Dyna-Mikes are currently on the road celebrating their 30th anniversary and the release of their most recent studio album, Stereotypez. Downsyde’s sixth studio album contains 13 tracks and is chock full of fantastic collaborations with the lad’s favourite local artists, including Matt Gresham, who features on the single, ‘Slow Down’.
Speaking on the tune, Optamus says: “‘Slow Down’ is our street soul anthem. Matty Gresham and I were deep in the OptShop studio talking about life’s hustle and the need to just chill and take it easy. It’s more than a song, it’s a vibe we bring to life on stage, urging everyone to take a moment and appreciate the ride.”
Tickets for Downsyde’s Northern Sound System gig are on sale now via Moshtix.
