Adelaide’s newest festival Our Sound just got even better after a stack of fantastic acts were added to the bill.

Presented by Groove Events, the one-day, double-stage drum and bass festival held at Bonython Park/Tulya Wardli is headlined by Perth’s legendary Pendulum (DJ El Hornet) performing a wild and exclusive DJ set and rising producer and DJ Luude, best known for his 2021 remix of Men At Work’s ‘Down Under’.

Joining the eclectic lineup that also includes the already announced V O E (pronounced Vee Oh Eee), Patch and The Collective, are some of the brightest stars of Australia’s electronic music scene.

Emerging liquid drum and bass artist Dada Jones, Western Australia's high priestess of the ruff cuts sammythesinner, aspiring SA DJ Amorositie, dynamic drum and bass DJ Jane Doe and local fav Seek N Destroy are all performing at the inaugural Our Sound.

Also on the lineup are Bright Eyed, Fiction, MC PAB, Pase MC, Tinkerb9l and Vilen.

Shaping up as an event not to miss on Adelaide’s packed musical calendar, you’ll want to grab your ticket asap as both first and second release tickets are sold out.

Tickets for Our Sound are available via Moshtix.

Despite the precarious nature of the music industry, Groove Events Director, Daniel Michael, is confident the festival can be a success.

“Drum and bass fans, myself included have remained loyal, enthused and willing to support the music in the state, it’s a true testament to fans of the genre,” Michael says.

“We were blown away by how enthusiastic and how in love with the vibe people were when we hosted Pendulum at Gluttony in March. We wanted to create something even bigger by securing Luude on the lineup and adding a second stage.

“I think it’s important, especially at the moment, to provide an authentic experience. Everyone behind this event is excited to welcome ‘El Hornet’ to the stage, alongside a bunch of our favourite up-and-coming and experienced Adelaide DJs. Our Sound is a tribute to drum and bass, it is our culture, our music, our vibe and our sound.”

Considering both first and second release tickets are sold out, it’s safe to say Michael knows what the people want.

Our Sound takes place on Saturday, December 7 at Bonython Park/Tulya Wardli. Tickets are on sale now via Moshtix.
