Aussie rock royalty The Screaming Jets are packing their bags and hitting the road for eight shows across the country.

The Life Blood Australian tour is about showing why rock music is part of our DNA and brings us all together, with frontman Dave Gleeson having this to say about the tour, “LIFE BLOOD is at the heart of humanity. Rock n Roll is the LIFE BLOOD of the Jets and our fans. When we play shows, everyone in the place, their hearts are pumpin’ and jumpin’ in time, and the force of the LIFEBLOOD connects us all. It’s a fuckin beautiful thing.”

The Screaming Jets get things going at Kiama Pavilion in Illawarra on Friday, November 8 before a performance at Melbourne’s Forum on Friday, November 15. They round out the month of November with a special solo show at Newcastle Racecourse on Saturday, November 16 followed by a gig at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday, November 22.

Then the Jets head to Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Saturday, December 7 before playing Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, December 13. The final two concerts take place at the Metro in Sydney on Saturday, December 14 and Miami Marketta Laneway on the Gold Coast on Sunday, January 5.

Known as fierce supporters of local talent, The Screaming Jets have enlisted some awesome acts to play with them on the Life Blood tour. Accomplished rock act Mammal, 60s-influenced Large Mirage and Adelaide’s own LOLA are performing select dates on the tour.

The Screaming Jets are one of Australia’s last remaining classic rock acts, having first formed in 1989 in Newcastle. The band has been through several lineup changes over the years, with the current setup featuring sole original member and lead singer Dave Gleeson performing alongside Jimi Hocking (guitar), Scott Kingman (guitar) and Cameron McGlinchey (drums), with Paul Elliot (bass) part of the touring lineup.

Known for their hits ‘Better’, ‘Shine On’ and ‘Friend of Mine’, along with their epic cover of Boys Next Door’s ‘Shivers’, The Jets have released ten studio albums over the journey, including their most recent effort, 2023s #3 ARIA Chart hit Professional Misconduct.

Those who want to get up close and personal with the band can grab limited VIP Meet & Greet tickets when purchasing your standard admission ticket. This is the first time The Jets have offered this type of fan service, with each Meet & Greet limited to 30 patrons per show.

Not only will punters get 15-20 minutes to chat with the band, but VIP ticket holders will also receive Life Blood tour merch, a personal item signed by the band and one photo with the band.
