Oz Comic Con Reveals 2024 Superstar Lineup
This year features another huge lineup of special guests from the TV, movie, comic book and Cosplay world.
Oz Comic Con returns to Adelaide this weekend with a stellar lineup of special guests, exhibitions and competitions. Held at the Adelaide Showgrounds this Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, Oz Comic Con Adelaide features a who's who of the TV, film, comic and Cosplay world.
Brian Beacock (Dragon Ball Super, Blue Exorcist), Christina Kelly (One Piece, Chainsaw Man), Emilie de Ravin (Roswell, Lost, Once Upon A Time), Jim Beaver (Supernatural, Deadwood, The Boys), Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) and Patricia Tallman (Star Trek, Babylon 5, Night of the Living Dead) are the big names headlining this year’s event. They will all be involved in Q&A sessions and also available for meet and greets during organised signing and photograph sessions across the weekend.
It’s not just the stars of the screen who share the limelight at Oz Comic Con, with a stack of awesome Cosplayers part of this year’s lineup. Those involved include Jusz Cosplay, Rhyleep, Chesh Rae, Claarz.cozplays and Reversetibbers, who will share their knowledge with fans and discuss how they bring their creations to life.
Adelaide Cosplayers who fancy themselves on the level of Cosplay champion Giorgia will want to enter the prestigious Australian Championships of Cosplay that will once again be held at the Showgrounds. This is the second instalment of the completion this year, with those lucky enough to qualify getting the chance to strut their stuff at the final in Sydney later this year.
A growing list of local heroes from the literary and illustration worlds will also be in attendance, including Jake Bartok, Gary Proudley, Christof Bogacs, David Hazan and local South Aussies; Owen Heitmann, Kate Kneebone, Samuel Reed and Katie Fraser.
Along with a fantastic lineup of guest speakers, attendees will be able to explore activations and exhibits, take part in workshops and competitions and listen to talks and demonstrations across the two days.
