UK Funnyman Paul Smith Announces Debut Australian Tour 2025
The crowd work king is heading to Adelaide in January 2025.
Comedy fans are in for a treat next January when UK funnyman Paul Smith embarks on his first-ever Australian tour.
After getting his start playing small comedy clubs across England, Smith has graduated to arena shows, having his audiences in fits of laughter with his hilarious crowd work and wicked wit.
Taking to Facebook to announce the tour this morning (September 16), Smith says: “Hello fans from Australia and New Zealand. I just wanted to let you know that tickets to me new show Pablo, which is coming to you in January 2025, are on sale for pre-sale tomorrow and then general release on Friday. So make sure you guys get yours. I will see you all there in January. I’m very excited.”
After performing three shows in New Zealand, Smith jumps across the pond for six dates in Australia, kicking things off in Melbourne at the Plenary on Thursday, January 16. The Liverpool comedian then performs at The Star on the Gold Coast on Friday, January 16 before heading up to Brisbane the following day for a gig at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, January 17.
The final three dates of Smith’s Pablo tour take place in Adelaide at the AEC Theatre on Tuesday, January 21, Perth’s HBF Stadium on Thursday, January 23 and Sydney’s ICC Theatre on Saturday, January 25.
There are two pre-sale options available for fans. The Mastercard Member pre-sale begins tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17 at 11:30am local time and runs until 12:30pm local time on Thursday, September 19. Live Nation and Ticketmaster pre-sale commences at 1:30am local time on Thursday, September 19 and runs until 12:30pm local time on Friday, September 20. General sale tickets are available from 1:30pm local time on Friday, September 20 via Live Nation.

A regular at Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool, Smith is one of the UK’s rising comedy talents, having been crowned Liverpool’s New Comedian of the Year while also being a finalist at The Leicester Comedian of the Year competition.
Possessed with a quick wit and likable personality, Smith’s new stand-up show Pablo mixes his entertaining crowd work with laugh-out-loud true stories from his personal life.
