Stephen Fry Announces 2024 Australian Tour

 

The UK comic, actor and writer is heading to Adelaide this October.

British polymath Stephen Fry is returning to Australia this October and November for six headline shows.

Known for his roles in hit TV shows Blackadder, A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Jeeves and Wooster and films such as Wilde, V for Vendetta and Gosford Park, Fry has also hosted the UK quiz show QI for 12 years and written over 15 books, including three autobiographies.

During his new Australian tour, known as ‘An Evening with Stephen Fry’, the talent Fry will delve deep into his journey in the entertainment world, discussing his time in the spotlight as well as what goes into his writing and storytelling process. Fry is also making this tour an immersive experience for fans, with audience members able to ask the writer, actor and comedian questions and his life.

Kicking off in Perth at the Perth Concert Hall on Sunday, October 27, the tour then heads to the Festival Theatre in Adelaide on Wednesday, October 30. Fry then has dates lined up in Brisbane at the Convention Centre on Saturday, November 2, the Royal Theatre in Canberra on Monday, November 4 and the Plenary in Melbourne on Wednesday, November 6, with the final show happening in Sydney on Friday, November 8 at the State Theatre.

Along with his star turns as an actor, Fry has also narrated, presented or featured in over 20 documentaries, with his most recent being Stephen Fry into Ukraine, where he talks with survivors of the war, experiences an air raid for the first time and discusses the war with President Zelensky.
