Fuji Rock is the latest big-name international music festival to drop its 2025 lineup. Taking place at Naeba Ski Resort outside of Tokyo, Japan from July 25-27, this year’s festival is headlined by electronic wunderkind Fred Again.., American funk act Vulfpeck and New York indie band Vampire Weekend.

A fantastic winter festival ideal for those missing Splendour in the Grass, Fuji Rock’s 2025 lineup also includes British jazz quintet and Mercury Music Prize winners Ezra Collective, LA-based indie rockers Ok Go, singer, songwriter and producer James Blake, engaging artist Four Tet, rock siblings HAIM and Swedish punk rockers The Hives.

Those heading along can also catch Laneway favourite Barry Can’t Swim, electronic artist Tycho and UK post-punkers English Teacher.

There’s also a couple of Aussie acts on the bill, with London-based Confidence Man and ARIA winners Royel Otis both performing.

Running since 1997, Fuji Rock is Japan’s premiere live music festival. Organised by Smash Japan, the annual three-day event features over 200 Japanese and international acts every year.

Along with a smorgasbord of incredible musical acts, the camping festival includes beautiful walks through serene country between stages, the longest gondola lift in the world, a large food market and the famous Red Marquee where you can dance your heart away until the early hours of the morning after the main festival grounds have shut up shop.

Fuji Rocks always attracts a diverse range of acts from across the globe, with last year’s festival featuring sets from The Killers, Raye, Peggy Gou, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Last Dinner Party and more.

Fuji Rocks takes place at Naeba Ski Resort from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, 2025. Tickets are on sale now via fujirockfestival.com.
