YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO
Jaguargod –‘Violence’
Doom metal is an incredibly fascinating subgenre. The compositions can become musical adventures that explore devastatingly low-tuned heaviness and seem otherworldly. Adelaide’s Jaguargod come with dashes of Encircling Sea and Soothsayer, adding both severity and sophistication in ‘Violence’. However, it’s the powerful pulsation of the elongated closer that, quite honestly, shakes the earth. Watch a dinosaur documentary on silent with the band’s EP to fully appreciate this marvellous monstrosity.
Listen to ‘Violence’ here.
