I See Stars Reveal Local Supports for Australian Tour
The American electronicore quartet kick off their Australian tour next week.
Returning to Australian shores for the first time in 14 years, I See Stars' highly anticipated national tour kicks off next week. Ahead of their first show at The Triffid in Brisbane, the experimental quartet have revealed the local support chosen to open for them in each state.
Along with the already announced post-hardcore behemoths Wind Walker, who will perform at all six dates, I See Stars will be joined by The Local Romance in Brisbane, Machine on a Break in Newcastle, Inertia in Sydney, Tapestry in Melbourne, MACËY in Adelaide and Gloam in Perth.
SA’s very own MACËY are a unique blend of rock, hip hop and nu metal. In a review of their 2024 single, ‘Union St’, The Note called the tune a “dance floor filler with touches of industrial metal, dance-punk and euphoric electronic flourishes that’s hard to define but a joy to listen to.”
I See Stars’ tour begins at The Triffid in Brisbane on Friday, January 17 and is followed by dates at Newcastle Hotel in Newcastle on Saturday, January 18, Crowbar in Sydney on Sunday, January 19 and Max Watts in Melbourne on Wednesday, January 22. The final two concerts take place at Adelaid'e’s Uni Bar on Thursday, January 23 and Perth’s Amplifier Bar on Friday, January 24.
Tickets for all shows are selling fast, with limited tickets available via destroyalllines.com.

Forming in 2006, I See Stars dropped their Cameron Mizell-produced debut album, 3-D, three years later. An underground hit, the record merged hard rock, post-hardcore and emo with electronica, resulting in a unique sound the band has continued across their five-album career.
Although it’s been eight years since their last long player, 2016s Treehouse, I See Stars continues to tour the globe, with the current lineup of Brent Allen (guitar), Andrew Oliver (keyboards, programming, clean vocals), Dean Oliver (lead vocals) and Jeff Valentine (bass) pumped to be heading our way this month.
