Lorna Shore Announce 2025 Australian Tour
The tour is Lorna Shore’s first ever visit to Australia.
Fans of the heavy stuff will be super stoked after deathcore act Lorna Shore revealed they are heading our way on their first Australian tour.
The emotive quintet have scheduled five dates across the country in February 2025, getting things started in Fremantle at the Metropolis on Friday, February 14.
The lads then make their way to Adelaide for a show at Hindley St Music Hall on Saturday, February 16 followed by a stop in Melbourne at the Forum on Tuesday, February 18. The final two dates of the tour take place at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, February 20 and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday, February 22.
Lorna Shore won’t be going it alone during their time in Australia, with the American act bringing good friends Bodysnatcher and Sydney’s To The Grave along for the ride.
Lorna Shore’s Adam De Micco said in a statement. “Good things happen to those who wait or that patience is a virtue but enough overused cliches to acknowledge it’s been long overdue that we finally tour the land down under, With all that being said we are excited to announce we are finally touring Australia. We hope to see all of you there.”
Early bird tickets are on sale this Thursday, June 13 at 9:30am local time. You can register here. General sale commences Friday, June 14 at 9:30am local time via Destroy All Lines.
Lorna Shore’s first Australian visit comes during the most fruitful period of the band’s 15 year career. The New Jersey outfit has been through a handful of different vocalists over the journey and struggled to break through until assembling the current lineup during the pandemic.
Consisting of new vocalist Will Ramos and bassist Michael Yager alongside lead guitarist Adam De Micco, rhythm guitarist Andrew O’Connor and drummer Austin Archey, Lorna Shore finally found success with their 2021 EP …And I Return To Nothingness.
They followed this with 2022’s Paim Remains – the first album featuring Ramos, O’Connor and Yager – which was widely praised by metal critics, with Kerrang! awarding the record 4/5 and calling Lorna Shore “one of the bands to take actual heavy music forward.”
Solidifying their status as one of deathcore’s most brutal acts, Lorna Shore is ready to bring their intricate arrangements Down Under and expose local audiences to their innovative and extreme brand of modern metal.
