WA Folk Duo Salt Tree Announce ‘Dreaming of a Future’ Australian Tour
The tour comes after Salt Tree signed with Select Music and dropped new single, ‘Dreaming of a Future’.
Western Australia’s folk duo Salt Tree has announced a huge national tour this October and November.
Hailing from a beautiful coastal region of WA, vocalists and guitarists Nathan Parsons and Tom Boerema have recently returned to Australia after a successful European tour alongside Candian folk trio Roy and Jon.
The release of their new single, ‘Dreaming of a Future’, coincides with Salt Tree’s most ambitious tour yet. The duo is performing 15 shows across Australia in cities and towns including the Gold Coast, Ballarat, Geelong, Adelaide and Margaret River.
Taking to Instagram to announce the tour, the lads commented: “‘Dreaming of a Future’ is out today! And...AUSTRALIA! We’re going on tour in October! Tickets in our bio - We can’t wait to see you! Let’s gooo! Tom and Nath x”
Tickets for all dates are on sale now here.
Salt Tree has been releasing music together for over five years, with the duo’s gentle acoustic ballads and cooing harmonies combining blissfully on songs such as ‘Out of the Water’, ‘Sparkly Socks’ and their haunting cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘I’m On Fire’.
Amassing close to 800,000 monthly listens and over 10 million streams since the release of their debut single, ‘She’s The One’, Salt Tree has established their credentials as one of the country’s most exciting folk acts going. You don’t want to miss them when they come to town this October.
Tickets for Salt Tree’s Adelaide show at the Grace Emily on Sunday, October 27 are on sale now via Oztix.
