STORMY-LOU – ‘IMPULSITIVITY’

STORMY-LOU – ‘IMPULSITIVITY’
SINGLE
Independent

Ever since we’ve been old enough to listen, we’ve all been told that it’s best to conform, to toe the party line and to ensure that we’re not making waves lest we stand out from the crowd. In ‘Impulsitivity’, the newest single from Stormy-Lou, the self-described inquirer-rock quartet have crafted an anthemic track designed for anyone who has ever felt different or unique, reassuring the listener that it’s more than okay to feel that way.
Penned by vocalist Mikaeli Stoker about their own experiences of living with ADHD and neurodivergence, the deliberately-misspelled ‘Impulsitivity’ is a celebration of uniqueness and finding comfort within oneself.
It’s a track that provides an outlet for listeners to feel seen and encourages understanding and compassion along the way. For many of us, it’s the sort of song that we only wish existed during the times in which it was most needed – and it’s one that we’re sure glad exists now.

Sounds like: Those long, comforting chats at the end of a riotous house party.
