EVERYTHING EVERYTHING & THE VACCINES CO-HEADLINE AUSSIE TOUR
Indie favourites Everything Everything and The Vaccines are heading Down Under for a five-date tour.
Fans of 2010-era UK indie music are in for a treat this May with the announcement of Everything Everything and The Vaccines co-headling an Australian tour. The two bands will play five shows across May, hitting Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. This will be The Vaccines' first shows Down Under in close to five years, while it's been almost six years since Everything Everything last played shows here. Both bands are touring in support of new albums. The Vaccines dropped their sixth LP Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations in January, releasing four singles, 'Heartbreak Kid', 'Sometimes I Swear', 'Lunar Eclipse' and 'Love To Walk Away'. Everything Everything is readying the release of their latest record Mountainhead next month. So far the band has released three singles from the concept album, 'Cold Reactor', 'The Mad Stone' and 'The End of the Contender'.The Vaccines burst onto the indie scene in 2011 with their critically acclaimed debut album What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? Containing the hit singles 'Post Break-Up Sex' and 'If You Wanna', the record was a massive success and helped the band claim NME’s Best New Band of the Year award. Since then the quartet has released five top five charting UK albums, including 2012s number one record Come of Age. Indie art-rockers Everything Everything is six albums deep, with their seventh, Fountainhead, releasing March 1. Rising to fame with the release of their sophomore LP Arc, the band has been consistently releasing awesome music for close to 15 years, with their brand of intricate math rock developing a large fanbase across the globe.
