Due to overwhelming demand from fans, living legend Kate Ceberano has added four new dates to her upcoming Australian Made Tour, including a stop in Adelaide this October.

The multi-ARIA-winning icon’s original 22-date regional tour celebrating her 40 years in the entertainment business now includes stops in four major cities – Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney.

“The response to this tour has blown us away,” Kate says. “It looks like I wasn’t the only one to think the time is right for a retrospective of my 40 years in Australian music — not only as a writer and a performer but as a massive fan. I’ll be singing songs I’ve had the privilege to be a part of and paying homage to some of the greats I’ve known and admired. Expect a ton of Australian classics and handpicked surprises. I can’t wait to hit the road and share my music and memories about them all.”

Taking in seven out of eight states and territories, the Australian Made Tour runs from June to October, with the four new shows taking place at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall Melbourne on Sunday, September 19, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall Brisbane on Friday, September 20, Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre Adelaide on Saturday October 11, and at a soon to be announced venue in Sydney on Sunday, September 14.

Ceberano looks forward to returning to Adelaide and performing at the newly refurbished Thebarton Theatre. “I love Adelaide, my family has a long history with SA and I have some great mates who live there, so it was a show I was determined to make happen,” she says. “I’m also stoked to add Brisbane to the line-up as well as a hometown Melbourne show at the beautiful Hamer Hall.”

Tickets for all shows are on sale now via kateceberano.com.

Fans heading along to the Australian Made Tour will be treated to a setlist combining songs from Ceberano’s own platinum catalogue, such as ‘Bedroom Eyes’ and ‘Pash’, with some of Australia’s most iconic anthems from artists who have inspired Ceberano’s journey, including INXS, Jimmy Barnes, Sia, Australian Crawl, Paul Kelly and more.

“It’s so important for me to express my culture, my Australia, in song,” she says. “This tour is a love letter to the artists, bands, audiences, and storytellers I’ve travelled with over this vast continent for four decades. It’s a deep dive into what makes me an Australian artist: my hungry heart holding their words to my chest, making them the soundtrack to my life.”

Joining Ceberano on tour are two incredible Aussie artists – Harts and Kathleen Halloran. Multi-instrumentalist Harts is the Australian Lenny Kravitz, with his music an invigorating blend of genres and styles. Singer and guitarist Kathleen Halloran is a rising powerhouse whose second single, ‘Find Me Again’, is receiving high praise from music lovers.

Ceberano’s Australian Made Tour is a worthy celebration of her long career that includes 11 platinum and eight gold albums, a whopping ten top 10 albums, five ARIA Awards and more than 6,000 performances across the globe.

Catch Kate Ceberano at Thebarton Theatre on Saturday, October 11. Tickets on sale now via kateceberano.com.
