After a 14-year absence, Welsh indie rockers Feeder make their long-awaited Australian return in 2025.

The band are touring in support of their recently released 12th album, Black/Red. The double album is the final instalment in a trilogy of albums that started with 2022s Torpedo. The long player has been well received by the worldwide music press, with Kerrang! calling Black/Red “an authentic representation of a great band in full, long-distance flight.”

Rolling into Perth on Saturday, April 5 for the first gig of the tour at The Rosemount, Feeder then hit Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Sunday, April 6, Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Wednesday, April 9 and Sydney’s Manning Bar on Thursday, April 10, before wrapping things up at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Friday, April 11.

Pre-sale tickets are available from 8:30am local time on Thursday, November 21. General on-sale kicks off on Tuesday, November 26 at 8:30am local time. For full ticketing details visit The Phoneix website.

The current iteration of Feeder features original member Grant Nicholas (lead vocals, lead guitar, piano) and Taka Hirose (bass guitar, backing vocals) alongside touring musicians Tommy Gleeson (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) and Geoff Holroyde (drums, percussion).

First forming in 1994, it was the one-two punch of records Echo Park (2001) and Comfort in Sound (2002) that propelled Feeder into the global music scene. They’ve gone on to release a total of 12 studio albums – eight of which have made the UK Album Chart top ten – scored seven #1 UK Indie Singles Chart hits and sold over 20 million records worldwide.

Armed with a back catalogue of rock anthems such as ‘Buck Rogers’, ‘Feeling a Moment’, ‘Just a Day’, ‘Just the Way I’m Feeling’, ‘Come Back Around’ and ‘High’, Feeder are sure to turn it on for Aussie audiences when they touch down next April.

Catch Feeder at Lion Arts Factory on Sunday, April 6. For full ticketing information visit thephoenix.au.
