After selling out their debut headline Australian tour, WA trio Fool Nelson are back with brand spanking new single, ‘Bad Dreams’.
Continuing the feel-good sound of the band’s 2024 Falling Apart EP, ‘Bad Dreams’ is a burst of hazy indie surf rock addressing mental health struggles.
“‘Bad Dreams’ is a song about the ebbs and flows of mental health and how anxiety can really cloud your perspective and stop you from seeing the good things in life,” the band said in a statement.
“It’s a reflection on times when everything seems like it’s gone to crap, but also a reminder to step back and appreciate the good things that help get you through those hard times. It’s got a sort of cathartic feeling and an optimism that we hope acts as a bit of a reminder that it’ll all be alright.”
