EMERGENCY RULE – ‘CORPORATION’: “The end of all humanity!” These five words growled by Doug Clark, the bassist/ vocalist of Emergency Rule, embody a powerful message: the world feels like it’s on the brink of disaster and the leaders we entrust to help are failing miserably. Thankfully this quartet are here to scream about it. Imagine a collaboration between Black Sabbath, Mastodon and RATM – it reads like a fantasy, but that’s what this four-piece are fusing. ‘Corporation’ is their diabolical delight of energy that broadcasts the message we need to howl about.
