The Necks
What: Considered one of the greatest cult bands in Australia, The Necks’ sound edges on ambient and avant-garde concurrently, producing a hypnotic jazz noise that’ll leave you spellbound.

Why? The chemistry between the trio is out of this world, which only lends itself to the mind-boggling improvisation you witness live.
Nancy Bates
What: Acclaimed Barkindji singer-songwriter Nancy Bates teams up with award-winning multi-instrumentalist Fleur Green for two afternoons of musical magic.

Why? Emotional, gifted and memorable are three words that describe these shows – a good way to recharge your soul mid-Fringe.
Glitter boat Party on the Popeye
What: Glitter, glamour and a generous amount of disco collide to create one of the hottest weekend events this Fringe. Dance aboard the historic Popeye as DJAYDRIAN and co soundtrack your evening fun.

Adam Page – 9 To 9
What: Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Adam Page is embarking on a sonic journey like no other: a mammoth 12-hour improvisation set that asks audiences to take a well-deserved beat from their busy lives.

Why? Whether you’re locking in for all 12 hours or just popping by, every hour of this spectacular show is designed to evoke new emotions, experiences and energy.
Down Under: The Songs That Shaped Australia
What: Australia’s world-renowned musical pedigree is on full display in a show that champions the songwriting hitmakers that have shaped generations. Always a sell-out!

Why? This is the show for anyone who has big-name acts like Paul Kelly, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, AC/DC and Tina Arena on their playlist.
Young Franco
What: Fresh from the release of his debut album It’s Franky Baby, producer Young Franco pops past Gluttony for a genre-bending groove that’ll have the dancefloor pumping all night long.

Why? Young Franco’s catalogue reminds us of popping candy – fizzy and addictive. What better way to level up that experience than by experiencing the legendary producer live?
Lachy Doley
What: Adelaide-born global sensation Lachy Doley hits pause on touring the world to bring his super band and intoxicating blend of blues, funk and soul to his hometown for one night only.

Why? Lachy is routinely called the ‘Jimi Hendrix of the keyboard’ – need we say more?
Ghost-Note
What: Helmed by Snarky Puppy’s multi-Grammy-winning percussionists Robert ‘Sput’ Searight and Nate Werth, Ghost-Note are pioneering the future of funk music with their groove-laden explosion of sound.

Why? Members of this collective have worked with music royalty (think Prince, Herbie Hancock and Snoop Dogg), so you know this is good stuff – seriously next level.
Gaol Glitterball
What: The historic Adelaide Gaol is set to transform into one massive disco inferno with the arrival of this event. Let loose under the stars as DJ Dr Packer and Funk Fusion select only the grooviest hits.
