Pearly Stars kicks it off at 6pm with their alt-indie noise, followed by sets from Cringetrender (6:35pm), Zara Chantelle (7:10pm), Awnings (7:45pm), The Strangers (8:20pm) and Emerauld (8:55pm).
Behind Nile Street
Fergie Mac’s Lounge
Local wine and beer nook Fergie Mac’s Lounge has hosted some of the most exciting jazz sounds in SA since it opened in 2020. So, it only makes sense the intimate heritage venue will be filled with syncopated rhythms, improvisation and neo-soul sounds when Kara Manansala (7pm), Ciara Louise Ferguson Trio (8pm) and Soylent Green (9pm) take the stage.
229 St Vincent Street
McGregor & Young Distillery
Alternative sounds that dip into indie, rock and pop genres are what to expect at gin haven McGregor & Young Distillery. Sip on one of the venue’s boutique gin and tonics as Birds Are Spies (7pm), The Genevieves (8pm) and Oscar The Wild (9pm) show you why they’re three of the most talked about acts in Adelaide right now.
312 St Vincent Street
The Banksia Tree
Ngarrindjeri/Gunditjmara singer-songwriter Katie Aspel takes her R&B-leaning pop noise to The Banksia Tree at 6pm to launch an intimate night of soulful sounds. Come for Katie, stay for sets by the talented Maisie B. (7pm) and dynamic duo Courtney Robb and Snooks La Vie (8pm).
147 St Vincent Street
Pirate Life Brewery
Homegrown heroes Pirate Life Brewery will keep the New Found Sound party pumping with their nighttime sets. Rising indie-pop outfit Pash will christen the stage at 8:30pm, followed by sets from award-winning vocal powerhouse My Chérie (9:30pm) and high-octane electronic trio Tonix (10:30pm) – what a finale!
18 Baker Street
10 Gallon Hat
The Port’s own Americana bar will have New Found Sound-goers tapping their toes and letting loose thanks to their roster of groove-infused acts: Live Slug Reaction (6pm), Tell Mama (7pm) and SILK (8pm). Dance the night away, whisky in hand, at this dimly-lit drinks haven.
158 St Vincent Street
SA Maritime Museum
The historic Ketch of the SA Maritime Museum will transform into a stage for Pascoe/Martin (7:30pm), San Ureshi (8:30pm) and David Kotlowy (9:30pm), all of who will be performing brilliant experimental sets powered by improvisation. The museum will also be open for free that evening! Explore the exhibitions as these unique performances soundtrack your adventure.
147 St Vincent Street
Port Admiral Hotel
Some of the SA’s emerging artists will fill one of the oldest buildings in the precinct – The Port Admiral Hotel. Expect acoustic folk-pop from 18-year-old James Pots (7:30pm), dreamy soundscapes from singer-songwriter Chloe Sea (8:30pm) and blues-infused folk tracks from Dieter Horvat (9:30pm).
55 Commerical Road
Vitalstatistix
This heritage building hosts some of SA’s most groundbreaking contemporary art performances. It only makes sense that three of Adelaide’s most captivating acts – Georgia Oatley, Pest Control and Mondo Psycho – are holding residency here at New Found Sound. Playing experimental pop, feminist punk and avant-garde rock ‘n’ roll, the music here kicks off at 8pm, with the following sets at 9pm and 10pm.
11 Nile Street
