Looking to treat yourself after another hectic festive season? Keen on a day with good friends and great food and wine? Want to enjoy the sunset watching some of the best national and international bands in the world? Then get yourself up to the Barossa Valley next month and catch The Teskey Brothers headlining A Day on the Green at Peter Lehmann Wines for a fantastic day of booze, bands and bloody good times!
One of the longest-running concert series in the country, A Day on the Green is more than just a gig – it’s an experience. Held at the best wineries across the nation, A Day on the Green concerts are a chance for music lovers to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and watch their favourite acts perform on outdoor stages in picturesque locations, with South Australia’s famed Peter Lehmann Wines arguably the best venue of the lot.
Pack a picnic or indulge in the food on site, grab a bottle of some of Peter Lehmann's finest and settle in for a day of incredible live music headlined by Australia’s own The Teskey Brothers. The five-time ARIA winners have gained a reputation for their soulful blues meets folk arrangements, with brothers Josh Teskey (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Sam Teskey (lead guitar) having released three acclaimed studio albums, including the ARIA Album Chart #1 The Winding Way, and toured the globe several times over playing some of the world’s most iconic venues and festivals.
The chance to see The Teskey Brothers live at the beautiful Peter Lehmann Wines while sipping on a bottle of the good stuff is what dreams are made of, but it’s not just The Teskey Brothers taking to the stage. The duo will be joined by an illustrious selection of support acts, including American indie rock veterans Band of Horses, who are returning to Australian shores for the first time since 2016 with a stacked catalogue of hit songs, including fan favourites ‘The Funeral, ‘Laredo’ and ‘No One’s Gonna Love You’.
Also performing are US country-folk singer-songwriter Sierra Ferell, emerging Irish performer CMAT and Aussie singer and multi-instrumentalist Charlie Needs Braces.
If nobody is keen on being the desi driver, a day on the green has ticket and transport options or you can indulge in a multi-daycation with plenty of great accommodation options throughout the Barossa Valley – from budget hotels to luxury weekend stays and even campgrounds!
So round up your mates or treat your other half to a romantic daycation when The Teskey Brothers perform in the Barossa Valley as part of A Day on the Green this January 2025.
