Demand for Hozier Tickets Results in New Shows and a Venue Upgrade for Adelaide
The folk pop singer’s Adelaide show at The Drive will now take place at AEC Arena.
Demand for tickets to Hozier’s first Australian tour in five years has seen the folk troubadour announce new shows and a venue upgrade for his Adelaide gig.
The ‘Take Me To Church’ hitmaker’s huge tour of Australia and New Zealand has already seen shows sell out in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch.
To appease fans, Hozier has announced new dates for Perth (Tuesday, November 5) and Christchurch (Saturday, November 23) while upgrading the venue for his Adelaide performance. While the date remains the same (Friday, November 8), Hozier will now perform for a larger crowd at AEC Arean instead of The Drive.
Those who already hold tickets for Hozier’s Adelaide show at The Drive will be sent new tickets in the same price category as their original purchase. If you have already received tickets for The Drive, they are no longer valid, so get rid of them. Ticketek will be issuing new tickets by Wednesday, August 28. For further ticketing details contact Ticketek.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale next week on Thursday, July 4 at 3:00pm local time. Before the general sale, there will be a Mastercard and One NZ pre-sale on Monday, July 1 at 2:00pm local time for the Perth and Christchurch dates. This will be followed by a Live Nation members pre-sale for Perth, Christchurch and Adelaide that commences on Wednesday, July 3 at 2:00pm local time.
Supporting Hozier throughout the tour will be Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jay Oladokun.
Since his last Australian visit when Hozier was touring in promotion of his sophomore album, ‘Wasteland, Baby!’, the Irish crooner has released several singles along with the acclaimed EP ‘Eat Your Young’.
With over 22 billion global streams, numerous platinum album certifications, multiple award nominations and wins, Hozier is recognised as one of the foremost singer-songwriters of our generation.
See Hozier perform at AEC Arena on Friday, November 8. For full ticketing details visit Ticketek.
