2024 SA Music Awards Performers and Hosts Revealed
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by triple j’s Home and Hosed’s Ash McGregor and Adelaide favourite Henry Doyle.
With the 2024 SA Music Awards just over a week away, the performers and hosts appearing at this year’s ceremony have been unveiled.
This year’s celebratory event will be hosted by triple j’s Home and Hosed’s Ash McGregor and Adelaide favourite Henry Doyle at Dom Polski Centre on Thursday, November 7.
The night will feature performances from a smorgasbord of SA’s best musical talents, including pub rockers West Thebarton, indie singer-songwriter My Chérie, experimental musical collective Sons Of Zöku and rising electronic producer DJ SVVLO.
Last but not least, Guy Sebastian, the inaugural winner of Australian Idol, will make a special appearance at this year’s SA Music Awards. Not only will the acclaimed singer-songwriter perform on the night, but he’ll also be inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame. Sebastian’s incredible career achievements include six number-one ARIA Singles, 69 platinum and seven gold certifications, and seven ARIA Awards.

This year’s SA Music Awards features 33 different categories with two voting streams – Industry Voted and People’s Choice. The Industry Voted awards are judged by an esteemed panel of local and national industry professionals, with the People’s Choice awards voted for by Adelaide’s music-loving public.
The APRA AMCOS Emily Burrows Award will once again be up for grabs, with the winner receiving a tidy $5,000 to help develop their musical career. Past winners include Hilltop Hoods, The Beards and DEM MOB – who took out the award last year.
Speaking of the APY lands hip hop trio, DEM MOB dominates the 2023 SA Music Awards, picking up the coveted APRA AMCOS Emily Burrows Award along with taking out Best Regional Artist, Best Music Educator and the People’s Choice Best Hip Hop.
