WAR ROOM –‘THE TOP FLOOR’

WAR ROOM –‘THE TOP FLOOR’

Independent

‘The Top Floor’, track number one off the upcoming War Room LP, treads a line between accessible and experimental using semitones of guitar/violin. You may recall War Room’s previous releases pitting chaotic tendencies against a more subdued, idyllic sound – and you may even argue that the more autumnal vibe won out in certain moments. Here, though, the War Room that occasionally sounded at home busking amongst some rolling meadows is all gone. Left in their place is a band barrelling off the deep end. The good news is that they sound entirely confident that they’ll land on their feet.

Sounds like: A procession of unchecked impulses.
