Released in 1989, Batman was a surprise critical and commercial success, earning over $400 million at the box office and kicking off the superhero craze some 35 years ago.

The film stars Micheal Keaton as Batman going up against Jack Nicholson’s Joker, with a supporting cast including Kim Basinger, Robert Wuhl, Pat Hingle, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Gough, and Jack Palance.

Batman is memorable for Burton’s dark and pulpy take on the character, with both Keaton and Nicholson praised for their incredible performances. Elfman’s incredible score is regarded as one of the best in the business, while Prince contributes music to the movie, giving it another dimension.

Catch Batman in Concert at AEC Arena on Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 14. For full ticketing details visit the Ticketek website.
