Celebrating the release of their latest long player An Exit Exists, Gold Coast hardcore quintet Blind Girls are embarking on an Australian tour this January.

For the past decade, Blind Girls have been kicking ass with their unique brand of screamo hardcore, establishing a rabid fanbase across the nation.

Joining Blind Girls on tour are American Midwest screamo giants Frail Body and Melbourne’s dynamic Gil Cerrone.

Blind Girls’ nine-date tour commences in Brisbane at Black Bear Lodge on Wednesday, January 15. The tour then hits Vinnie’s Dive on the Gold Coast on Thursday, January 16, Stag and Hunter in Newcastle on Friday, January 17, The Lansdowne in Sydney on Saturday, January 18 and La La La’s in Wollongong on Sunday, January 19.

The band then perform gigs at The Baso in Canberra on Wednesday, January 22, The Tote in Melbourne on Thursday, January 23 and Singing Bird Studios in Frankston on Friday, January 24, before bringing things to a close at Adelaide’s Crown & Anchor on Saturday, January 25.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now via Destroy All Lines.

Blind Girl’s An Exit Exists dropped in July of this year to great acclaim, with New Noise Magazine calling the record a “dynamic, aggressive, and exciting listen that will leave you wanting more,” and Everything Is Noise saying An Exit Exists is a “satisfying feast for the ears.”

After exciting crowds in North America earlier this year, the group comprising vocalist Sharni Brouwer, guitarists Julian Currie and Luke Sweeney, bassist Mark Grant and drummer Ben Smith are pumped to perform songs from An Exit Exists for their Aussie fans next January.

Catch Blind Girls at Crown & Anchor on Saturday, January 25. Tickets on sale now via Moshtix.
