Byron Bay Bluesfest Reveals Artist Playing Days

With the final Bluesfest artists revealed last week (January 15), the festival has updated its artist playing times schedule.
Taking to Instagram to announced the news, organisers commented, “Play Days are here! Four days of unforgettable music this Easter long weekend in Byron Bay. From legends you love to fresh new discoveries, Bluesfest 2025 is already delivering—and there’s more to come!”
Ocean Alley and Tones & I headline Thursday night, Toto, George Thorogood & the Destroyers, Gary Clark Jr. and Christopher Cross take centrestage on Friday night, Crowded House, Vance Joy and Xavier Rudd are the main attraction on Saturday evening before Chaka Kahn, Hilltop Hoods and Missy Higgins close out the Sunday.
The massive lineup also includes Mexcian folk duo Rodrigo y Gabriela, Canadian songstress Allison Russell, multi-instrumentalist and singer John Butler, funk collective The Cat Empire, country singer Kasey Chambers and many more.
The final edition of Bluesfest Byron Bay is a four-day event held over the Easter long weekend from April 17 to 20, 2025, at the beautiful 300-acre Byron Events Farm.

Bluesfest OAM Director Peter Noble is excited about the new lineup of artists performing at next year’s event, releasing this statement: “While this lineup focuses on our homegrown talent, it’s still a strong Blues and Roots announcement, staying true to the heart of what Bluesfest has always been about. I can’t begin to tell you how many incredible artists have reached out, wanting to be part of our final festival.
“Scores of amazing talents from across the country have thrown their hats in the ring. It’s a testament to how special this festival is to the Australian music community. As much as I would love to include everyone, there are only so many spots we can fit into one lineup.”
Byron Bay Bluesfest 2025 takes place from Thursday, April 17 to Sunday, April 20 at Byron Events Farm. Tickets are on sale now via Moshtix.
