Canadian act City And Colour returns to Australian shores in 2025 for a five-date tour. The alias of singer-songwriter Dallas Green isn’t coming alone, with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats sharing the stage with him during their January jaunt.

Also hitting the road for the tour is Aussie indie favourite Alex Lahey, who will perform at all the East Coast shows (including Adelaide), and Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys, who will open the gig in Perth.

Having toured Canada together earlier this year, City And Colour and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are excited to perform for their loyal Australian fans.

The tour commences in Brisbane at the Riverstage on Tuesday, January 14 and moves to Sydney’s Horden Pavilion on Thursday, January 16 and then Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday, January 18. The final two dates of the tour take place at Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre Theatre on Monday, January 20 and Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium on Thursday, January 23.

Pre-sale for Frontier Members begins on Tuesday, September 24 at 9:30am local time. You can register here. General on-sale kicks off Wednesday, September 25 at 10:30am local time via Frontier Touring.

This tour marks City And Colour’s 19th Australian tour, which is mindblowing. He last performed a series of intimate gigs around the country in 2023. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats also played shows in Australia that year.

City And Colour’s illustrious career has produced seven albums, including last year’s The Love Still Held Me Near. Speaking on the album, Dallas says: “The Love Still Held Me Near was born out of unimaginable loss and the subsequent journey through the grief and heartache that followed.

“It’s about digging deep down into yourself and attempting to unearth hope and light in the things that can comfort you through those times. For me that has always been writing and recording music, so that’s exactly what I did”.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are touring in support of their 2024 album, South of Here. Rateliff’s fourth album with the band was well-received by critics, with Rolling Stone calling it Rateliff’s “most intimate album yet.”

Catch City and Colour and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats at AEC Theatre on Monday, January 20. For full ticketing information visit Frontier Touring.
