Kylie Minogue Announces Australian Tour and New Album

 

This is the Disco Queen’s biggest tour since 2011.

Kylie Minogue has got us spinning around after revealing she’s touring Australia next year as part of her monster worldwide Tension Tour.

Not only has Minogue announced seven dates across the country, including a stop in Adelaide, but the hitmaker has also shared details surrounding her new album, Tension II.

“I am beyond excited to announce the TENSION TOUR 2025,” says Minogue.​” I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more!

“It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!” ​

Minogue kicks off her world tour in Australia next February before performing in Asia and the UK, with more dates to be announced in the future. Her first show of the Australian leg of the Tension Tour takes place at Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, February 15.

Then she hits Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, February 18 followed by two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21.

Then it’s off to Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, February 26 before the final shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2.

There are several pre-sales options with the first being for Telstra Plus Members who have access to tickets from Tuesday, September 24 for 48 hours. This is followed by the Kylie.com and Frontier Touring pre-sales that run for 24 hours and commence Thursday, September 26. General on-sale occurs on Wednesday, October 2. Minogue’s highly anticipated Tension II arrives October 18 via Mushroom Music (pre-order here). Acting as a sequel to her smash hit #1 album Tension, Minogue’s latest is 13 tracks of feel-good dance anthems including her most recent collaboration with The Blessed Madonna, ‘Edge of Saturday Night’. Tension II also contains nine brand-spanking new studio tracks and features the likes of Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo and Sia.

The album’s first single and opening track ‘Lights Camera Action’, drops September 27 and can be pre-saved here.

“The Tension era has been so special to me … I can’t possibly let it be over just yet! Welcome to Tension II,” Minogue says.
