Dua Lipa Shares Australian Tour Dates But Adelaide Misses Out

The three-time Grammy Award winner is performing in Melbourne and Sydney next March.

Pop superstar Dua Lipa has announced two Australian dates as part of her worldwide Radical Optimism tour. The three-time Grammy Award winner and seven-time BRIT Award winner has locked in two dates in Australia along with a show in New Zealand for March 2025.

Along with performing in Australia and New Zealand, the ‘New Rules’ and ‘Dance the Night’ hitmaker has announced more shows for the UK, Europe and North America.

Lipa’s Australian leg of her world tour, which is named after her most recent album Radical Optimism, kicks off in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena on Thursday, March 20. The British artist then performs at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on Wednesday, March 26 before she crosses the ditch for a stadium show at Spark Arena in Auckland on Wednesday, April 2.

There are several pre-sale options for those desperate for tickets. American Express members have first crack via the AMEX pre-sale that begins Wednesday, September 18 at 10:30am local time. The Artist pre-sale commences the following day on Thursday, September 19 at 11:30am local time. General on-sale finally takes place on Friday, September 20 at 12:30pm local time via Dua Lipa’s website.

Since breaking out with her self-titled debut album in 2017, Dua Lipa has been at the forefront of modern pop’s renaissance. Her most recent release, this year’s Radical Optimism, has cemented Lipa as a worldwide star.

Working with the likes of Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and songwriters Ian Kirkpatrick and Andrew Wyatt on Radical Optimism, Lipa constructed an album that merges pop, electronica and psychedelic elements.

The majority of music publications praised Radical Optimism, with The Independent writing the album is “Destined to get bodies on the dancefloor” and DORK claiming the the record “sticks the landing.”
