Goo Goo Dolls Announce Debut Headline Australian Tour 2025
The American rock-pop act will be joined by Australia’s own Thirsty Merc on their six-date headline tour.
Having been announced as one of the headliners of Yours & Owls Festival, rock-pop act Goo Goo Dolls have revealed a run of solo headline dates, including a stop in Adelaide.
The band responsible for the massive 1998 hit ‘Iris’ will be joined on tour by Aussie rockers Thirsty Merc, who embark on their own Electric Summer tour later this month.
Speaking on Goo Goo Dolls Australian shows, Christo Van Egmond, Managing Director of TEG Van Egmond, said: “Having witnessed the incredible show that Goo Goo Dolls deliver on stage when they toured with Matchbox 20, I couldn’t book them to return to our shores soon enough. Their brilliant back-catalogue of pop-rock hits are the perfect blend of nostalgia-inducing and hope-inspiring. For fans young and old – I believe this will be the feel-good tour of the summer.”

The band then have shows booked for Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Friday, February 21, Newcastle’s Entertainment Centre on Sunday, February 23, Brisbane’s BCEC on Tuesday, February 25 and Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Thursday, February 27.
