HOLLOW COVES ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR
The Gold Coast duo are hitting the road in support of their new album, Nothing to Lose.
Ethereal indie duo Hollow Coves have just announced their biggest tour yet. Hot on the heels of their latest album, Nothing to Lose, the Gold Coast lads are scheduled to play shows in New Zealand and Australia this coming October and November. The tour begins in Christchurch, New Zealand on Thursday, October 24, before taking in Wellington and Auckland. Hollow Coves then return to Australia for shows in Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, with the final show at Margaret River on Saturday, November 23. Hollow Coves is pumped for the upcoming tour, sharing their enthusiasm via a press release: “We can’t believe all the good things happening in 2024! We’re starting a world tour soon, and our new album is coming out next week. We can’t wait to play our new songs, as well as some old favourites, in some of the biggest venues we’ve ever performed in. See you soon, Australia!”Currently touring Europe before heading to North America, good buddies Matt Carins and Ryan Henderson, the duo who make up Hollow Coves, have managed to connect with audiences across the globe thanks to their gentle folky vibes and beautiful harmonies. They achieved their first Gold Single in Australia with their breakout hit ‘Coastline’ and have recorded over 1 billion streams of their music, which is pretty impressive. Their latest single ‘See You Soon’ is an understated guitar strummer about reconnecting with old friends. “This song is all about this feeling and trying to encourage the listener to reconnect with those people. Just send them a message or give them a call and see where they’re at,” the band said in a press release about the song. “I’m sure they’d really appreciate it. This song was actually the first song that Matt and his wife Molly wrote together after discussing what would be a good concept to write about that a lot of people could relate to.
