Katy Perry Announces 2025 Australian Tour But Misses Adelaide

The ‘Firework’ and ‘Teenage Dream’ singer is performing five stadium shows in June 2025.

Popstar Katy Perry has announced an Australian stadium tour for 2025 but sadly Adelaide misses out.

Perry has revealed the news ahead of her appearance at the AFL Grand Final this Saturday, with The Lifetimes Tour taking place in June 2025. The series of concerts will feature Perry performing all her biggest hits, with the artist announcing: “It’s a party, and everyone is invited.”

The tour commences in Sydney at Qudos Bank Arena on Monday, June 9 before Perry performs two shows in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arean on Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13. The ‘Firework’ singer ends her visit with stadium shows at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, June 17 and Perth’s RAC Arena on Sunday, June 22.

There are several pre-sale options available, with the first being the Telstra Plus pre-sale that begins on Friday, September 27 at 9:30am local time and runs until 7:30am local time on Tuesday, October 1. This is followed by the Snaffle pre-sale that kicks off at 7:30am local time on Tuesday, October 1 and runs until 8:30am local time on Thursday, October 3.

The Foxtel pre-sale and TEG Dainty/MyTicketek pre-sale runs from 9:30am local time Thursday, October 3 until 9:30am local time Friday, October 4. General sale tickets will be available to the public from 9:30am local time on Friday, October 4 via Ticketek.

Perry’s return to Australia comes as she prepares to perform in front of 100,000 fans as part of the AFL Grand Final Telstra Pre-Game Entertainment.

"I'm so excited to be back in Australia and back at the mighty MCG to perform in front of 100,000 of the best and loudest fans in the world at this year’s Toyota AFL Grand Final. See you in September Oi Oi Oi!" Perry said in a statement about her upcoming performance.

The pop singer is also in town promoting the release of her new album 143, which has copped a battering from critics.
