From Byron Bay teenage metalheads to an unstoppable global force, Parkway Drive is hands down one of Australia’s greatest bands of the 21st century. With seven full-length albums under their belt, three consecutive #1 releases on the ARIA Albums Chart (2015's Ire, 2018's Reverence and 2022's Darker Still) and multiple ARIA wins throughout their career, the five-piece has cemented themselves in Aussie music folklore. Not only are they huge Down Under, but Parkway Drive has achieved worldwide success, with several top-ten charting albums in Europe, three critically acclaimed documentaries and millions of streams globally.
But if you want to fully immerse yourself in the Parkway Drive experience, you have to catch their live show. Over the years they have gained a formidable live reputation that’s led to the band headlining festivals such as Wacken Open Air, So What?! Festival, and Australia’s Good Things Festival, along with sharing the stage with the likes of metal greats Lamb Of God, Soulfly and Killswitch Engage.
Support act I Prevail are no slouches either, with the platinum-certified rockers ready to unleash on Australian audiences with their energetic live show. With billions of streams and close to 400 million views on YouTube, the five-piece will be playing hits from across their entire career.
Californian act The Ghost Inside has been through the wringer since forming in 2004. Their debut album Fury and the Fallen Ones quickly got them noticed and it wasn’t long until the band became fan favourites of the metalcore scene. But a tragic bus accident while on tour in 2015 resulted in The Ghost Inside taking a four-year hiatus before triumphantly returning in 2019. They’ve since continued to record and tour, with their sixth album Searching for Solace set for release this April.
Australia’s metal scene is in good hands with the likes of Void of Vision leading the charge. The Melbourne band has been out there getting it done for over a decade. They performed at the first-ever Knotfest in 2023 alongside Slipknot and are riding high after the release of their third album, 2023’s Chronicles.
