Pirate Life Brewing Drop Full Lineup for Tenth Birthday Celebrations
Swedish greats Millencolin and Cali punks Pennywise are headlining the birthday bash.
Pirate Life Brewing’s sold-out tenth birthday bash just got a hell of a lot more exciting with organisers dropping the full festival lineup.
Held at the brewery’s Adealdie headquarters on Saturday, March 1, the mini-festival celebrates Pirate Life’s tenth year and is headlined by Cali punk rockers Pennywise and Swedish punk royalty Millencolin. Joining them on a day that promises plenty of good times are fellow punk rockers 28 Days, Melbourne ska outfit Area 7 and Frenzal Rhomb’s Jay and Lindsay. But there’s more.
The bill also features country rockers Brad Chicken and the Bootstraps, hippy psych lads Brave Mistakes, swampabilly outfit Haystacks Calhoon, alt-rockers Indiago, emerging creative Jawgee and the extraordinary Jongo Bones and the Barefoot Bandits.
Punters can also catch sets from old-school punk rockers Juliette Seizure & the Tremor Dolls, rising alternative act LOLA, solo artist Mitch Primer, alt-ratbags Numbskulls and fierce fem punk group Pest Control
Rounding out the stacked lineup are the super-talented Ricky Albeck and the Belair Line Band, hardcore punk quartet Stabbitha and the Knifey Wifeys and pop-punk larrikins Young Offenders.
The Note is also hosting another Note Vote, giving one local act the chance to perform at the birthday celebrations. More details to follow.
Along with all the awesome bands performing on the day, there will be 24 beers (including ten selected by the public) on offer, along with live art, amazing local food, roaming entertainment, and much, much more.
